Student Poster Award Program

This year we will be giving awards for the best student posters; one poster, that is considered the best quality and best presented, will be chosen in each of the four poster sessions.

Topic Editors will be the judges for the Student Poster Award Program. They will judge posters submitted in their topic area only. Each poster is based on a 30-point system to determine the winner in each session.

The point system for judging posters is as follows:

10 pointsScientific merit of poster
10 pointsOverall presentation quality of poster
10 pointsQuality of student's oral presentation

Each judge will be given a list of all student posters being presented in each session. A student author on the paper MUST present the poster in order to be qualified for the award.

All winners will be announced at the Conference Banquet on Thursday and all recipients are to be present to receive their award. If you cannot attend the Banquet, please see Karen Sloan to make other arrangements.
